Throughout my career, I have continually worked to utilize data for impact. This has ranged from the analysis of usage metrics coming out of an app to developing my expertise in advanced analytics and business intelligence, driving data-driven solutions for enhanced business performance. It all started with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, laying the foundations of my analytical mind and problem-solving skills. ORDER FOR JULY ANALYTICS

This project was completed using Microsoft Excel workbook. The dataset covers the order details of a company for the month of July, 2021. This was a project containing order details for a company in the month of July 2021. Through the Microsoft Excel workbook, the project sought to use my analytical and problem-solving skills in conducting a detailed cleaning exercise on the data in presentation of important actionable insights. Among them was the removal of null values, changing the data types, trimming off characters which were irrelevant, and then selecting features to be used in analysis. I applied several functions and formulae in Excel to solve the mathematical problems within the dataset. Finally, I used Pivot Tables to generate detailed insights that would give a clear overview of the order metrics and performance of the company for the month.

SQL Murder mystery

This project I did in PostgreSQL. With my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, using very minimal information, I wrote queries investigating a murderer and his boss. Doing this will involve rigorous data analysis and logical deduction. Here is the link to my thought process and the queries written to achieve this.

Movies

This project was purely a case of data wrangling, which I did in Jupyter Notebook to help express my Python and data manipulation skills. I used the pandas library to clean and manipulate data and prepare it for analysis. NumPy was used to calculate several metrics and further refine the dataset.

Visualization

In this project, I gathered major insights and KPIs and developed a comprehensive, interactive dashboard using Power BI. Before making the dashboards, I had used Power Query to preprocess the data by scrubbing and transforming it very carefully to make sure that the insights developed from it were correct and reliable. Handling missing values, correct data types, and data normalization for consistency were part of this process. Finally, the dashboards portray the data in a clear, active, and insightful way for visualization that will support an informed decision-making process.

I did my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Electronics Engineering, which laid a very strong base in my analytical thinking and problem-solving. I have also completed a Certification degree in Business Analysis from Conestoga College, and that really helped me in building a very strong base in business requirements and gave good data solutions. This background of education, coupled with practical experience, arms me with a unique blend of technical skills and business acumen.
